DSCNWA Connection  Intern

DSCNWA is offering an internship in the spring, summer and fall semesters for students in the Department of Human Services and Family Sciences at the University of Arkansas.

DSCNWA is offering an unpaid student internship each semester for a student or students in the Human Development and Family Sciences program at the University of Arkansas. The internship will be for 150 hours, consisting of 10 to 12 hours weekly. Some evenings and weekends will be required.

Interns will get hands on experience in our core programs and strategic initiatives. Special projects will be assigned to each intern that align with their academic focus and future career goals, as well as support one or more of DSCNWA’s core programs or initiatives.

Seeking An Additional  Fall 2025 Intern! 

Fall 2025 Intern will help with fall programs and the Step Up for Down Syndrome Fundraiser.

Olivia is from Montgomery, Texas and is a senior this fall at the University of Arkansas. She is majoring in Human Development and Family Sciences as well as Communication Disorders. She loves surrounding herself with children and hopes to be a speech pathologist after college.
